Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Say Less mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Say Less is a mobile application that lets users create anonymous plans ("buttons") and share them with their contacts. Recipients can commit to plans by holding to confirm. The identity of the plan creator is never revealed to other participants.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Say Less. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

4. Account and Authentication

Say Less uses phone number verification for authentication. You agree to:

• Provide your real phone number for verification purposes
• Keep your device and account credentials secure
• Notify us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to use Say Less to:

• Harass, bully, intimidate, or threaten other users
• Post plans that promote illegal activity, violence, or self-harm
• Spam or send unsolicited invitations to people who have asked not to receive them
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or compromise the App's security
• Use the App for any commercial or advertising purpose without our consent

6. Anonymity

Say Less is designed so that the creator of a plan remains anonymous to all participants. We do not reveal plan creator identity to other users. However, we may retain creator information internally for safety, moderation, and legal compliance purposes.

7. Content and Plans

You are solely responsible for the content of plans you create. Plans are temporary and expire after their set duration. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or applicable law, and to suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate our policies.

8. Push Notifications and SMS

Say Less sends push notifications and may send SMS messages to deliver plan invitations. Standard messaging and data rates from your carrier may apply. You can manage notification preferences in your device settings.

9. Intellectual Property

The Say Less name, logo, design, and all associated intellectual property are owned by us. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our written permission.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Say Less is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We disclaim all warranties including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Say Less and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, plans not being delivered, or actions taken by other users.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Say Less at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by other means. Your continued use of Say Less after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Say Less shall be resolved in the courts of the United Kingdom.
